Riding a bike is good for your body but might not do much for your bones. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. It said that the study showed that serious cyclists who rode seven to 22 hours a week for an average of nearly 10 years had lower body fat, more muscle and took in more calcium than a control group. But they were also 2.5 to three times more likely to have osteoporosis or near-osteoporosis. (more)

300 Calorie Food Picture Gallery. Fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, sea food, sweets, cereal, nuts, dairy, alcohol. Why 300 Calorie? Originally the idea was to count how many calorie I spend working for two hours on the PC (between the obligatory breaks I make) and bicycling on a stationary bike for half an hour (my favorite indoor sports activity). With the help of this tool I found out that both activities require approximately 300 Calorie. (more)
