I want to start taking an omega-3 supplement as I don't like fish. You had recommended one with a high EPA. How high should I go, and can you recommend a brand? I'm new to supplements!
Brennan J. Robertson's Response
Supplementing your diet with omega-3 is a great way to ensure that your body is getting enough of this vital fatty acid. Look for a supplement that is pharmaceutical grade, has been through molecular distillation (to remove toxins), and has a low peroxide value (PV). I recommend a ratio of approximately 1.5:1 to 2:1 EPA to DHA. One brand that meets these requirements is Genuine Health®.
